Gigi's Playhouse to launch national mobile program at Lincoln Balloon Festival

[May 19, 2017]  LINCOLN - The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the 2017 Balloon Fest will have a special component to it this year.

The Chamber is partnering with Natalie Marquez, Founder, President and CEO of DSAG, The Down Syndrome Advocacy Group to bring Gigi's Playhouse to the Balloon Fest.

Gigi's Playhouse chose the Balloon Fest to launch their new national mobile program. Gigi's Playhouse is the only worldwide network of Down Syndrome achievement centers that changes lives through free-results driven programs for individuals of all ages, their families and communities. In helping individuals with Down Syndrome achieve their best of all, they also advance their larger vision of global acceptance for people of all abilities.



The Down Syndrome Advocacy Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It exists to serve individuals with special needs, their families, and the community through resources, education, and support.

The mission of DSAG is to promote the value and contributions made by individuals with Down syndrome to our society, to advocate the acceptance and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome, and to serve as an educational and social resource for families and to those with Down syndrome.

The 2017 Balloon Fest will be August 25 and August 26, 2017.
