Betty Ewing Nevius, 93, of McLean passed away on Friday, May 12,
2017 at Leroy Manor Nursing Home in Leroy.
Funeral Arrangements are pending at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home
in Atlanta. |

Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the
McLean Christian Church.
Celebration of Life Service:
7 p.m. Thursday, at the church

Obituary
Betty Ewing Nevius, 93, of McLean, passed away at
10:45 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017, at LeRoy Manor.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Nevius will
be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at
the McLean Christian Church. Mr. Tony Billingsley
will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Betty Euthana Ewing was born July 22, 1923, in
McLean, the daughter of Russell and Bess Burton
Ewing. She married George William "Bee" Nevius. He
preceded her in death in 1981.
Betty is survived by one son: David (Donna) Nevius,
one daughter: Debbie Furman; four grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild. |
She worked at Kathryn Beich Candy until retirement in 1988.
Memorials may be made to McLean-Mt. Hope Fire and Rescue or the
Alzheimer's Association.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral
Home of Atlanta.
