Graveside Service:  Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln

Shirley A. Warner, 86, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln with Rev. Henry Johnson officiating.

Shirley Ann McNamee was born on March 20, 1931 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Joseph L. and Lottie Brzeski McNamee. She was united in marriage with Harold G. Warner on November 30, 1953. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1995.

Surviving Shirley are her children: Mike (Katie) Warner of Coco Beach, Fla. and Melissa (Joe) Saccullo of Kingsport, Tenn.; and several grandchildren.


 

Funeral Director

She was preceded in death by one son: Harold “Buck” Warner, one brother: James McNamee, and one sister: Beverley Rolston.

Shirley enjoyed being a teacher’s aide at Jefferson School and was a foster grandparent with Community Action Partnership. She truly loved the children and being a grandparent.

She was a member Jefferson Street Christian Church and was beloved by the members of Sisters of Ruth class.

Memorials may be made to Jefferson Street Christian Church “Sisters of Ruth.”

Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home.
