Lincoln College Head Coach Matt Vavro is very happy with his team’s 3-0 start.

“I am pleased with our team effort to begin the season. We opened up against a very good Southeastern Iowa team that won 20 games last season and were able to rally and come away with the win. We then went on the road to take on a quality Division 1 NJCAA team in SWIC and had a very good third quarter to pull away with the victory. The girls have been working very hard and their confidence is starting to grow. We are very young and are having to learn from every possession. Each of the girls have shown from their film sessions with me, they are continuing to learn what we are trying to establish as a unit. I have been impressed by the team chemistry the girls have and it is showing on the court!”

Lincoln College will host Kishwaukee tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Nutt Arena.

The Lady Lynx top off Homecoming Week with a 2 p.m. game on Saturday versus Blackhawk-Moline at Nutt Arena.
