Obituary

Stacey Lynn Fillmore, 47, of Beason, passed away November 3, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday, November 17, 2017 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow.

Stacey was born August 2, 1970 in Paris, the daughter of John S. “Steve” Hyde and Ruth (Batson) Hyde. She married Wayne Fillmore on February 17, 2008 in Lincoln.

She was formerly employed at Wal-Mart and as a bartender at Thunder Foot Junction. She was a member of the Berlin Brats (Berlin, Germany High School Alumni Club) and a member of the ASPCA. She attended Lincoln College and graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Science in Pre Veterinary Medicine. She had a heart for animals and for people. She was always there to lend a helping hand.

 

Surviving are her grandmothers Joyce Hyde and Mary Batson, parents John S. "Steve" and Ruth Hyde; husband Wayne Fillmore; children: Joshua Fillmore, Sabastian Batson, Kevin "P.S." Fillmore, and Brittney Ramlow; grandchildren: Alliyah, Logan, Harper, Carter, and Easton; siblings: John Hyde II, Jodi Thompson, April Matherly, and Katrina Fouty.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Tom Hyde; grandfather Dutch Hyde; and grandchildren Aeron Rae Albertson and Rayne Pamela Brown.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Logan County.
