[November 16, 2017] The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to launch the 30th Annual Light Up a Life Campaign at ALMH.

Each year, thousands of individuals and groups are celebrated through a campaign inviting the community to honor those living, remember those who have passed, or show appreciation to those healthcare professionals providing great care.

“The holiday season is a special time when we celebrate with loved ones as well as honor the memories of those gone before. The Light Up A Life campaign at ALMH provides a wonderful opportunity to pay tribute to those who have and will continue to show us the way“, said ALMH Foundation Executive Director Sarah Helm.

You can support local healthcare through the Light Up A Life campaign by making a gift and submitting your list of tribute names between now and December 5. The suggested donation of $10 per name may be designated to purchase medical equipment at ALMH, fund scholarships for local youth pursuing careers in healthcare, support Memorial Home Services Hospice Care, fund the work of the ALMH Community Health Collaborative or provide general support for future ALMH projects.

Forms are available at ALMH. Donors may mail Light Up A Life gifts to the ALMH Foundation at 200 Stahlhut Dr. in Lincoln. You can also make a gift online by visiting www.almh.org/foundation.

Names received by Tuesday, December 5 will be compiled and presented in a special Lincoln Daily News online magazine on December 22nd through January 31st. Each individual or group remembered will be listed in bold, followed by names of those who gave in their name. A tree lighting will be held on December 5 at 5:30pm at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. A soup supper will follow the tree lighting. To attend the event, please RSVP by calling 217-605-5006.

Light Up A Life is a program of the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation, a not-for-profit entity organized in 1986 to raise funds for Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. For more information about Light Up A Life, please call Sarah Helm 217-605-5006, or visit www.ALMH.org/foundation
