Christmas is fast
approaching and so is the 2017 Minier Christmas Parade. The parade
steps off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 2nd. Don’t miss the
festive start to the holiday season. “Celebrating Christmas – 150
Years” marks the sesquicentennial of Minier and Father Minier will
lead the parade.
Come see
the Marching Spartans perform, the floats, the Tin Lizzies, local
dignitaries, hero characters, Christmas characters and, of course,
Santa Claus and his elves.

Following the parade the Super Heroes and Santa will
greet children at the Minier Fire Station.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., home business vendors and local crafters
will set up shop in the Masonic Lodge on Main Street in Minier.
This is a
perfect place to do Christmas shopping; there will be a wide range
of Christmas gifts – food, candles, baskets, jewelry and more. Make
sure to sign up for a Grand Prize to be awarded at 4 p.m.
See you
all in Minier on December 2!
