LINCOLN
Diane
Buse of Lincoln has been named the September Employee of the Month
at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Buse works as a
unit secretary in the acute care department at ALMH for over seven
years.
As the unit secretary, Buse greets visitors and families when they
arrive on the acute care floor. She supports the nurses and nurse
technicians throughout her work day and ensures a healing
environment and patient privacy.
Her nominator, Nicole Sochotsky, wanted to recognize Diane for
creating a great place to work by truly caring about her co-workers.
“I commute to work and work every other weekend. So even though she
wasn’t at work on the day of a big accident on I-55 she knew I would
be called to work. She called me to tell me to be safe. It is
co-workers like this that are the reason I commute to work. Thank
you for truly caring about all your coworkers and making me feel
cared about,” said Sochotsky.
“My co-workers make ALMH great. They make me and their patients feel
special. They advocate for our patients and their families to ensure
the highest quality care,” said Buse.
