Mount Pulaski Soccer picks up regional win

[October 08, 2017]    The Mount Pulaski soccer team picked up a regional win Friday night as the Hilltoppers beat Decatur Christian 5-3 in the opening round of play.

 

Nate Dyer had a hat trick (three goals in a game) and Michael Freer and Brayden Trimmer each scored one goal for the Hilltoppers.

According to statistician Tracy Dyer, the game was a mud fest.

The Hilltoppers will play tonight at Williamsville against St. Teresa, the no. 1 seed in the regional.

Mount Pulaski’s record is 4-13-1 on the season.

The Hilltoppers are coached by Rob Siebert.
