[October 11, 2017]    SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois Department of Agriculture is announcing the launch of its new website which features a more modern and user-friendly design.

The new site affords users access to the same information, but in a layout that optimizes navigation and content structure. The new website also provides access to popular services in just one or two clicks.

By being a mobile based website, it offers additional functionality by being readily available to all users no matter where they are accessing the site from. The new website follows a consistent look and design as other State government websites.

“I would like to encourage everyone to check out the new IDOA website. The new site is more navigable and streamlined to make it easier and quicker to find what you are looking for,” says Agriculture Director Poe. “Thank you to all the staff at IDOA and DoIT for the months of hard work they put into this new website.”

The completion of this project is a true testament of multiple agencies working together to accomplish a common goal. The Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) was instrumental in helping with design of the new site and the conversion from our previous site.
