LINCOLN
Creekside’s Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, October 21 from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the G. Dennis Campbell Creekside Outdoor Center
for Environmental Education at Lincoln College. The family friendly
event is free and open to the public. This year, the event will

Starting at 10:30 a.m. a special dedication ceremony will take place
for the sculpture “Nature’s Embrace” by local artist Moses
Pinkerton, with Lincoln College President Dr. David Gerlach offering
brief remarks.
Visitors will have a variety of opportunities to explore Creekside
and participate in activities including a rail splitting
demonstration at the pioneer cabin, where reenactors will also be
making and selling stew. A “Little Free Library” has been installed
at Creekside, and participants will have the opportunity to help
paint the library box during the festival. Book donations are also
