[October 23, 2017]  ATLANTA - The Atlanta Ag 4-H and Atlanta Town & Country 4-h clubs are teaming up to conduct a new community service project.

The two clubs will be collecting Caps for Benches. In the program, the community is asked to save and donate plastic caps to the project. The caps will, in turn, be re-purposed into benches that will be given back to the community.

Cap collection points have been set up at Atlanta National Bank, the Atlanta Post Office, and Olympia South Elementary School in Atlanta.

Also, if you are unable to deliver caps to one of these three locations, you contact members of the two 4-H clubs, and they will make arrangements to come collect your donation.

The clubs recently spent an evening working on the kick-off of their project.

After working on their community service project, everyone enjoyed a pot luck meal at the Atlanta City Park.

Afterward, the 4-H'ers finished off the evening working together to solve problems and complete the 4-H Challenge Game - Body Detective.
