[October 24, 2017]   LINCOLN - Any day may be the last of our warm days and the beautiful weather on Saturday brought people out all over town.

With the weekly ALMH Market season over at the Logan County Fairground a couple of the regular vendors set up shop in front of the ALMH Pink Shutter Thrift Shop on McLean Street for the morning.

Nicole Cox - Yours Truly

Ethan Hoinacki - Roasted by Ethan

Yours Truly {Bakery} and Roasted by Ethan offered their baked goods and coffee specialties with a steady flow of customers stopping by midmorning. Nicole Cox bakes specialty cupcakes and cookies with attention to details, and she makes a to-die-for flourless dark chocolate torte topped with a dollop of butter cream. Ethan Hoinacki is keeping his amazing fresh roasted beans available for take home brew and offers brew by the cup to help you decide which brew is right for you.

Watch for more pop-up market days with a few vendors extending the season.

And yet to come this year, two special full ALMH Markets are scheduled to bring you more goodness and a chance to start your holiday shopping.

This Saturday, October 28, the ALMH Market will return to the Logan County Fairgrounds for a “Fall Festival Night at The Market” from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Activities at the evening market will include a costume contest, spaghetti sauce competition, live music and more.

And, on Tuesday, November 22 the ALMH Market will host its second annual “Holiday Market” to help bring fresh produce to the Thanksgiving table. This Holiday Market will be held at the Lincoln Park District from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
