[October 27, 2017]    LB Jonathan Anderson was waived after the Bears acquired WR Dontrelle Inman. Anderson has 40 career tackles in three seasons with the Bears. "He's a guy, if he clears (waivers), that we'd love to have back," head coach John Fox said.

DB Bryce Callahan (neck) returned for a full practice Thursday after practicing on a limited basis on Wednesday.

G Kyle Long returned for a full practice (Oct. 26) after missing Wednesday's practice to rest a surgically repaired ankle. Long will likely play on Sunday.

DB DeAndre Houston-Carson has solidified his standing on special teams after stepping up when Sherrick McManis and Benny Cunningham were out with hamstring injuries last week. Houston-Carson made three special teams tackles in the game.

QB Mark Sanchez was not at Thursday's practice due to illness.

WR Dontrelle Inman did not practice, but did pass his physical. The Bears aren't completely ruling out his appearance in Sunday's game at New Orleans, although it would seem unlikely since he hasn't had much time to digest the play book. Inman will practice Friday. Inman was anything but upset over leaving the Chargers, where he had plenty of competition for playing time. He said he anticipated a move being made.

DE Mitch Unrein (quad) returned for a full practice Thursday after practicing on a limited basis Wednesday.

LB Nick Kwiatkoski (pectoral muscle) is well enough to return to the starting lineup, but it's likely he'll only be rotated in occasionally because defensive coordinator Vic Fangio likes what he has seen the last two games from Christian Jones.
