[October 30, 2017]    (The Sports Xchange) - The Arizona Coyotes acquired goaltender Scott Wedgewood from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a fifth-round draft choice in 2018, the teams announced Saturday.

 

The 25-year-old Wedgewood is 1-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and .973 save percentage with the Binghamton Devils of the American Hockey League this season.

The Brampton, Ontario native recorded a 2-1-1 mark with a 1.25 goals-against average and .957 save percentage in four career NHL games with the Devils.

The Coyotes also assigned goaltender Adin Hill to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's AHL affiliate.

The St. Louis Blues recalled goaltender Ville Husso from the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL

Husso was recalled in the event Blues goaltender Carter Hutton needs to miss a game. Hutton and his wife are expecting their first child.

The Toronto Maple Leafs assigned forward Eric Fehr to the Toronto Marlies and recalled forward Kasperi Kapanen from the AHL affiliate.

Fehr, 32, has appeared in four games with the Maple Leafs this season, registering four shots on goal and two penalty minutes.

Fehr recorded 11 points (six goals, five assists) in 52 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins prior to being acquired by the Maple Leafs in a trade on March 1.

Kapanen, 21, has skated in six games with the Marlies this season, scoring three goals.
