Head coach Jeff Nelson said, "I thought our approach at the plate was very good tonight. Maybe the best so far this season. We were aggressive in the zone and were able to drive the ball with a little power. If we can tidy up our defense in a couple of spots, we might be able to make a decent run this post season."

WLB will take to the road again on Thursday night to take on Midwest Central. The game will be played in Green Valley at 4:00pm. Their final regular season game will come Saturday at Stephen Decatur.

Record: 8-5
