[September 13, 2017]  LINCOLN - Sherry Hudson of Kenney has been named the August Employee of the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Hudson has worked in the medical records department at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital since October 2012.

As a medical coder, Hudson is responsible for coding patient accounts so that insurance companies can be appropriately billed for services provided at the hospital. ALMH is a GREAT place to work and after being here almost five years I can honestly say I’ve always looked forward to coming to work. The medical records department is like a family and we all work great together and with other departments,” said Hudson.

Her co-workers, Karen Pecoraro and Crystal Neal, nominated her for the honor. “She goes above and beyond each day to instill professionalism in her position here at ALMH.
