09/29/2017 NBA Note - Cleveland Cavaliers Wade, Dwyane

G Dwyane Wade was introduced to the Cleveland media on Friday and let it be known how excited he was to be back with close friend LeBron James. The two went to four NBA Finals and won two championships in four years together with the Miami Heat before James left to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers after the 2013-14 season. Wade averaged 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 60 games with his hometown Bulls last season but was not interested in being a part of a long rebuilding process and agreed to a contract buyout, reportedly leaving $8 million on the table before signing with the Cavaliers for the veteran's minimum of $2.3 million. Wade owns career averages of 23.3 points, 5.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 14 seasons with Miami and Chicago. The overhauled roster in Cleveland includes Derrick Rose, Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Jose Calderon and Wade.
