[March 30, 2018]  LINCOLN -  Betty Lou Logan, 85, of Lincoln, passed away March 13, 2018 at Generations of Lincoln.

Visitation:  10 a.m. until Noon Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service: Noon Saturday at the funeral home

Obituary

Betty Lou Logan, 85, of Lincoln, passed away March 13, 2018 at Generations of Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Saturday also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Union Cemetery.

Betty was born July 4, 1932, the daughter of Clifford and Irene (Prewitt) Deuterman. She married George Downing in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1960. She later married Donald Logan in 1967. He preceded her in death in 1996. She was formerly employed as a cook in several Logan County schools including grade schools, LCHS, and retiring from Chester East Lincoln. She enjoyed planning class reunions and getting together with her classmates. She was a graduate of LCHS in 1950.

 

Surviving are her children: Debra Jones, Kevin Downing, and Donna Logan all of Lincoln; step daughter Susan Logan Baker (George) of Bloomington; grandchildren: Lily Logan, Scarlet Logan; step grandchildren; Angela (Matt) Baughman, Amy (Justin Curry) Baker, Andrea (Scott) Phillips, Chris (Julie) Baker; step great- grandchildren: Audrey Wahl, Sydney Baughman, Carley Baughman, Natalie Baughman, Evelyn Baker, William Baker, Hudson Baker, Samantha Baker, and Elliot Baker; and sister Mary Wright of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and brother William Deuterman.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
