[April 04, 2018]  ATLANTA - Delores A. Billington, 81, of Atlanta, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at her home.

Celebration of Life: Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Memorial Community House.

Obituary

Delores A. Billington, 81, of Atlanta, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at her home.

A celebration of her life visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Memorial Community House.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.

Delores Ann Miller was born May 18, 1936, the daughter of Donald E. and Vera A. Enockson Miller. She married Merlin G. Billington on February 26, 1955. He survives.

Delores is also survived by four children: Theresa (David) Miley, Stephen (Penny) Billington, Sherrilyn (Hoot) Foss, and Donna (Gary) Knight; fourteen grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral Director

She was preceded in death by one son: Merlin G. Billington, Jr.; two brothers: Robert Miller and Donald Miller; and two great-grandchildren.

Delores was a 1954 graduate of Atlanta High School. She retired from Lehn & Fink after 30 years of service. She is a member of the Atlanta United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping, fishing, knitting, and crocheting.

Memorials may be made to Atlanta Rescue Squad, Safe Haven Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
