The Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team finally had a nice day for baseball on Thursday afternoon.

After canceling or postponing eleven games due to the cold and wet Spring and dropping the first two games of the season to Charleston, the Lincoln Railsplitters entered the win column with an 11-3 win over Tri-Valley. Everything was working for the Railsplitters on Thursday.

Lincoln scored runs in the first three innings and held a 4-1 lead entering the fifth inning. A five-run fifth inning saw Will Ewald, Jack Eimer and Nate Arnold all drive in runs for Lincoln. The Railsplitters added two more runs in the sixth inning and with sophomore Alex Bogdanic on the mound, Lincoln was cruising.
