LINCOLN

Logan County community developers/leaders, financial institutions, and aspiring developers are encouraged to attend a “Small Scale Development Workshop”.

This one-day Workshop on small-scale real estate development is all about project formation. Participants will learn how to take a big picture view of neighborhood-based development and learn how to analyze what makes a good project, how a building makes money, and how small developers interact with the broader ecosystem of professionals in the built environment. By the end of the Workshop, aspiring developers will feel more prepared to take the first steps on their own project.

The Workshop is presented by the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, of which Logan County is a member. It will be held at the Peoria Riverfront Museum - 222 Southwest Washington Street - on Thursday, April 26 from 8am-5:00pm. Lunch is onsite and included as part of the Workshop.
