Atlanta National Bank Hires Neal Stimpert as CEO

ATLANTA 

The Atlanta National Bank, Atlanta, Illinois, is proud to welcome Neal Stimpert as the newest addition to their staff. Stimpert became Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer on April 2, 2018 with oversight of commercial banking relationships and executive management. The bank’s previous Chief Executive Officer, Rodney Alberts, continues serving the bank on the Board of Directors.

Stimpert joins Atlanta National Bank with over 30 years’ experience in commercial and retail banking, most recently as Senior Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager with Busey Bank in Peoria, Illinois. Prior to that, Stimpert served Herget Bank, N.A. in Pekin, Illinois as Senior Vice President of Lending. Stimpert is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Risk Management.
