Lincoln softball drops Saturday doubleheader to Effingham

The Lincoln Railers Softball Team hit the road on Saturday for a
doubleheader in Effingham and it was the Flaming Hearts getting a
9-0 shutout in game one and an 8-3 victory in game two.
Lincoln just could not get any offense going on the day and only
managed two hits all afternoon.
"It was a tough day," said Lincoln Coach Darrin Worth. "We just
couldn't hit and our defense had some problems. I thought Kerstin
pitched pretty good today." Osborne pitched 12 innings total on
Saturday.
Sydney Sutherland and Kerstin Osborne had the only two hits for
Lincoln.
Osborne struck out ten batters over the two games.
