[August 02, 2018]   MINIER  - Minier Corn Daze is just around the corner. The festival will be held on Sunday, August 5th this year at the school park.

The Craft and Vendor Fair begins at 8 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. The Community Church service starts at 10:30 a.m. in the park. Pastor Rusty Richards from Minier Christian Church will lead the service and provide music with local musicians. Plan to celebrate and give thanks for our community as everyone worships together on this special day.

The Park will be buzzing with activities all day: a Cruise-in; entertainment on the stage; children’s activities; a visit from Reggie Redbird, antique tractor display, food vendors offering funnel cakes, walking tacos, corn dogs, lemon shake-ups, Carl’s Ice cream, the ever popular corn fritters, and, of course lots of free sweet corn!

A couple of events will take place on Saturday, August 4th. First, will be the Tractor Pull starting at 11 a.m. at the new park on the northwest edge of Minier.
