Charlotte Toohill wins 2018 4-H Master Showmanship Award

[August 07, 2018]  Logan County 4-H held the county Master Showmanship Contest Thursday, August 2nd.

Logan County 4-H members age 14 years and older who are livestock exhibitors are eligible to compete in the contest which involves demonstrating showmanship skills in three different species: beef, swine, and sheep.

Lukas Aylesworth, the 2017 Illinois State Fair Overall Master Showman and a member of the Topper 4-H Club, served as coordinator for the Logan County contest.

Participants for this year’s contest included Nolan Boyer, JR Lynn, and Charlotte Toohill. They were judged by Jody Kabat and Cody Zeeck. The overall winner selected for 2018 is Charlotte Toohill, who will move on to compete in the Illinois State Fair Master Showmanship Contest on August 10th.
