[August 15, 2018]  LINCOLN - Linda Lou Baker, 68, passed away at 2:08 p.m. on Saturday August 4, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Celebration of Life Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 18, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln

Obituary

Linda Lou Baker, 68, passed away at 2:08 p.m. on Saturday August 4, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Linda was born on September 3, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN; daughter of Hubert Lee and Bonnie Lou (Davis) Estep. She married Stephen Baker on April 27, 1968 in Lincoln. He survives her.

Also surviving are her children: Barbara (Darrin) Coffey, Tiffany Worth, and Stephen P. (Teri) Baker all of Lincoln; two sisters Sandy Graber of Lincoln and Ann Kramer of FL; seven grandchildren: Kendall and Morgan Coffey, Sydney and McKenzie Worth, and Anthony, Hunter and Corbin Baker all of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Mary Watson, and one brother Larry Estep.



 

Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lincoln where she sang in the choir for nearly 20 years. She loved to share her voice with all who would listen. She was a light of love to her family and all that knew her.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 18, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln with Rev. Brad Curtis officiating. Memorials may be made in Linda’s name to the First united Methodist Church.

Cremation services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
