“End Grain Runs II” by Jason Hoffman: This piece appeared as if by magic. Jason was doing another painting and used this piece of wood to protect the floor from paint runs. Paint dripped from the main piece and created this one.

“Into the Light” by Jan Villarreal. This is her favorite of the one’s she submitted for the show. She did not have anything in mind when doing this art, but it just appeared. “I was in the zone,” she said.

“Beehives at Creekside” by Pam Moriearty. Pam is a master naturalist and it shows in her subject.

“Between Acts” by Moses Pinkerton, a very evocative painting.

Raku pottery by Alice Ferguson-Raku. This art is a multi-stage process to create the finished ceramic figure and each step in the process must be done exactly.

“Geometrically & Organically Grown” by artist Tony Shuff, his take on Matisse.

Another large gathering for an opening at the Lincoln Art Institute.
