[August 17, 2018]   On Saturday, August 25th, kids will get the experience of a lifetime . . . a chance to see and ride heavy construction and farming equipment! The event runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the McLean County Fairgrounds in Bloomington.

In its 15th year, more than 10,000 kids have attended this one of a kind event! For one day, the kids will be in the driver's seat and actually drive dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment with a member of Operating Engineers Local 649 at their side.

Additional farming, construction and Emergency vehicles will be on exhibit. Plus the world's largest sandbox, the Survive Alive House, and other kid friendly activities. Food, refreshments, and souvenirs will be available. It's a great day for good dirty fun!

Tickets for kids are $5 in advance, and $7 at the gate. Admission includes souvenir 'Hard hat'. Purchase tickets in advance at: Hy-Vee Bloomington, The School Shop, and Stark Excavating. (Tickets not required for adults.)
