LINCOLN

Habitat for Humanity of Logan County (HFHLC) has been informed by the company that collects all the recycled materials that they no longer will service Lincoln, Illinois. This announcement means that all electronics and other materials normally accepted on the 2nd Saturday each month at the HFHLC warehouse is effective immediately.

HFHLC will be able to continue to accept aluminum and scrap metal only.

Bill Sahs, president of the local affiliate and the board regrets not being able to offer this service and will continue to try and find another source of collection services.

Besides being a source of service to the communities of Logan County it was also a source of income for our main purpose in HFH - building homes for those willing to partner with HFHLC.

Beginning immediately this service has been cancelled until further notice.

Any questions, or ideas concerning this matter may be directed to Bill Sahs at 217-737-0346 or Bob Chamberlain at 217-732-2449.
