Community invited to an open house
honoring Bill and Diane Detmers

LINCOLN
An open house in honor of Bill and Diane Detmers,
longtime volunteers of The Logan County Genealogical & Historical
Society is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the
Center, located at 114 N. Chicago St. This will be their final day
of volunteering at the Center.
Bill and Diane have served as LCGHS volunteers for the past 16 years
and have been integral part of the Society's efforts to preserve the
history of Logan County and provide genealogical research for the
public.

Bill has served as a researcher, director, and past president of
the Society. Diane has served the Society by recording donations and writing
thank you notes to donors, among other projects.
