[August 27, 2018]   LINCOLN - The Lincoln Christian Church Harvest of Talents will host a special musical offering for World Hunger on Sunday September 23rd at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

In Honor of the 35th anniversary of Harvest of Talents many local musicians will join together to bring an afternoon of glorious music.

Original members of the Musical Offering, which debuted in 1992, Linda Storm and Tim Searby, will be joined by Kay Dobson, Gail King, Haofang Lee, Graham Hill, Abigail Funk, Julie King, Emmary Roemer, Richard Knopp, Austin Garriott, The H.O.T. Ensemble and Junior Ensemble, and the combined choirs of Lincoln Christian Church and Jefferson Street Christian Church.

It is also rumored that Sheridan Whiteside and Banjo from The Man Who Came to Dinner will make an appearance.

The concert will feature a medley of the beautiful music of Richard Rodgers as well as music from Wicked, Newsies, The Pajama Game and will include Mozart’s Alleluia and Haydn’s The Heavens Are Telling from Creation.

A free-will offering will be taken and all proceeds will be used to feed hungry and hurting people.
