Graveside Service:  1:00 p.m. Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln

Edward Ovalle Sanders-Tena , 4 months, passed away at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO at 2:20 p.m. Thursday August 16, 2018.

Edward was born on March 24, 2018 in Portland, OR; son of Ryan Tena and Katrina Sanders.

Surviving Edward is his mother: Katrina Sanders of Lincoln, his father Ryan Tena of Eugene, OR, his paternal grandparents Alex and Maureen Tena of Portland OR, maternal grandma Judith Sanders of Lincoln, maternal aunts and uncles: Cheryl (Seth) Williams of Clovis NM, William Sanders of Lincoln, James (Kaley) Sanders of Lincoln, Rachel Sanders of Lincoln, David Sanders of Lincoln and Michelle (Matthew) Bedwell of Washington; paternal uncles: Aaron (Ryann) Tena, Justin Tena, and Jonah Tena all of Eugene OR and one half-brother Mayson Harrelson-Tena of Eugene OR. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa: Charles Sanders.

Edward enjoyed listening to oldies music and his favorite song was Moon River, enjoyed his hair being brushed, and his eyes would always follow his mother when she walked in the room.

Graveside services for Edward will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln with Jonathan Wright officiating.

Memorials may be made in Edward’s name to his mother Katrina.

Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
