Elaine Aue selected as the Grand Marshal for 2018 Lincoln Parade

The 2018 Downtown Lincoln Christmas Parade Grand Marshal is Elaine Aue.

Elaine is the owner/manager of the local Culver’s Family Restaurant. Since the opening of the restaurant, Elaine has used her business to help support many community efforts including our local schools as well as other organizations such as Toys for Tots, The St. John United Church of Christ Mission Projects that have included coats for kids and Narcan Kits for our Lincoln Police Department. The Culver’s fundraiser nights donate 10 percent of the restaurants receipts to those programs, and have a positive impact on the future of our children and the well-being of our community.

Elaine also has through her business provided jobs to Lincoln and Logan County residents. Approximately 30 people are employed by the Culver’s in Lincoln.

FROM LDN ARCHIVES - APRIL 13, 2017 - On Tuesday evening, Elaine Aue of Culver’s presented Stacy Peacock a check following a fundraiser held in her honor on Saturday. The two women met at the restaurant and Aue presented Peacock with a check in the amount of $10,912.41.

Elaine was nominated by a member of the board of the Logan County Tourism Bureau with the nomination being supported unanimously by the board. The board sees Elaine as a kind and generous person who is genuinely invested in her community.

Elaine will be front and center at the Christmas parade on Thursday evening. Please give her a wave and a cheer as she passes by.
