LINCOLN
On Thursday, December 6th at 6:10 p.m., while closing the streets
for the 2018 Christmas Parade, Lincoln Police Officer Chad Eimer was
struck by a vehicle as he was walking across the street at the
intersection of Broadway Street and Chicago Street.
Officer Eimer was transported to a Springfield hospital where he was
later released.
We would like to thank our community for the support during this
time and we are thankful Officer Eimer did not suffer more serious
injuries.

Officer Eimer was hired by the city of Lincoln in 2014 and we
anticipate he will be back to work shortly.
