Are you registered to vote in Logan County? Contact our office at (217)732-4148, email at elections@logancountyil. gov  or check online through our website at: www.logancountyil.gov.

Citizens who cannot leave their home or nursing home because of permanent disability and are not registered to vote, may arrange for voter registration by contacting the Office of the Logan County Clerk. Upon request, assistance can be obtained through the Clerk or deputy registrar. Online and Mail registration forms are available to all citizens of the State of Illinois on the County Clerk website: www.logan countyil.gov.  Registration forms may also be obtained at the resident’s nursing home. Grace Period Registration may be offered by request through the County Clerk.

Any qualified resident may register to vote at the Office of the Logan County Clerk located in Room 20 of the Logan County Courthouse, Lincoln, Illinois Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two forms of identification are required to register; one must display your current address. Any unregistered voter with an Illinois Driver’s License can also apply to register to vote on line through the State of Illinois OVA link on the County Clerk website at www.logan countyil.gov.  The last day to register with a deputy registrar for the City of Lincoln Ward 3 Republican Primary is Tuesday, January 29, 2019 (with the exception of Grace Period Registration and transfer of registration beginning Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in the Office of the Logan County Clerk).

If you are registered to vote in the City of Lincoln Ward 3 and choose not to vote at your polling place on Election Day Tuesday, February 26, 2019 for any reason, you have several alternatives. Vote by Mail is available for all registered voters of the City of Lincoln Ward 3 and you may now make application for a Ballot by Mail. Applications to Vote can be obtained on the County Clerk’s website: www.logancountyil.gov under Election Information, or through a request in person, by mail, email, or telephone at the Office of the County Clerk. The last day an Application to Vote may be received by mail, and the last day a Vote by Mail Ballot may be sent from the Office of the County Clerk is February 21, 2019. Vote by Mail Ballots and Early Vote Ballots will be available for voters on Thursday, January 17, 2019. No application to vote will be processed until that time. Contact the Office of the County Clerk to receive further Voter Registration, Application to Vote by Mail, and Early Voting information, or visit the Logan County Clerk website at www.logancountyil.gov  for up-to-date information and forms.
