One in ten people in Logan County have been diagnosed with diabetes
and an even larger group has prediabetes.
This disease requires special handling when it comes to diet and

their disease, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital will host monthly
Diabetes Support Group meetings.
Meetings will be held the third Friday of each month throughout
2019. Meetings will be held from 11 a.m. to noon in the Wombacher
Room at the hospital.
These meetings are for people with diabetes, their family members
and caregivers are free, no registration is required.
Discussion will be facilitated by:
-
Jennifer DiPasquale- Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes
Educator (CDE),
-
Sarah Tierney- Registered Nurse and CDE,
-
or
