Lady Lynx mow down Greenville

The Lincoln College Women’s Basketball team had little trouble defeating the Greenville College JV on Thursday. The Lady Lynx put the game out of reach early by going up 33-7 in the opening quarter of play then cruising to a 114-44 win.

Three LC players scored more than 20 points in the game. Sophomore Emoni Smith (Indianapolis) had the highest point total with 28 while Nautica Preston (Chicago) poured in 27 and Erynn Young (Indianapolis) scored 22. Freshman Kaleia Monteiro (Rockford) grabbed a season high total of 16 rebounds on the night.

The Lady Lynx will look for their 20th win of the season on Saturday as they Lewis & Clark College at 1:00 p.m.
