At the January meeting of the Atlanta Ag 4-H club, members learned about the environment and our natural resources.

Cavitt Schemmp (standing) gave the presentation talking about Geology and sharing his personal rock collection.

Mary Carlock presented 4-H and Me, showing that being a 4-H member involves many things, not just attending monthly meetings.

Angelina and Joessa McGinnis offered examples of creative recycling showing off two snowmen that had been crafted from unwanted window shutters.

The club members also participated in an activity. They painted rocks then placed them around about outside for others to see and enjoy.

Winston Carlock summed up the activity nicely saying, “We painted rocks to spread happiness.”

Happy New Year to all from Atlanta Ag 4-H!
