Joyce Ann Lehner, 74, formerly of Jacksonville, IL died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ.

She was born May 2, 1943, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Lloyd and Helen Smith Black. She married Walter Lehner, Jr. on Nov. 10, 1983 in Jacksonville, and he survives. She is also survived by two children, Greg Lindsey (Barb), of Jacksonville, Lisa Lindsey, of Indianapolis, and three grandchildren.

Joyce graduated in 1961 from Jacksonville High School. She and her husband Walt relocated to Arizona in 1987. Joyce was an active member of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials and served as the Business Manager for Sahuarita, AZ School District before retiring in 2004.

Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church Sun City West. She loved to garden, sew, play cards and Mah Jongg, watch the Phoenix Suns games, and work jigsaw puzzles at her sunroom table. Joyce and Walt thoroughly enjoyed their friends and activities at their home, Grandview Terrace, Sun City West, AZ.
