Obituary
Lois Kathleen Byrne, 88, of Chestnut
passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in her home.
Lois was born on July 13, 1929 in Mount Pulaski, the
daughter of Boyd and Clara (Deavers) Hahn. She
married Ernest “Gene” Byrne on January 19, 1951 in
Mount Pulaski. He preceded her in death on August
18, 2014.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Sherie Ross of
Waynesville, her granddaughter, Shelley (Andy) Jun
of Bloomington; four great-grandchildren, Rebekah,
Luke, Adam, and Leah Jun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her
parents, her brothers, Herschel Hahn, Boyd Hahn Jr.,
and Harry Hahn; her sisters, Helena Teichman, Doris
Faith, and Leota Lamar. |
Services for Lois will be held at
11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the
Chestnut United Methodist Church. Visitation will
take place prior to the services Thursday, from
10:00-11:30 a.m. Burial will follow the services at
Laenna Cemetery in Chestnut.
Memorial donations may be made in Lois’ name to
Chestnut United Methodist Church.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski.
