The Accelerated Bridge to Education program is geared toward
adult learners and is currently offered on the Lincoln College campus in Normal;
in Peoria on the campus of Illinois Central College; and in Oglesby on the
campus of Illinois Valley Community College. Students take one class at a time
under an accelerated schedule, which combines classroom instruction one night
per week with online learning that is equivalent to a traditional 14-week
course. Multiple start dates are offered during the year, giving adult students
greater flexibility to balance their class load with their work and personal
schedules.

Lincoln College recently announced that it will begin offered ABE classes on its
Lincoln Campus as well and has scheduled an open house on Feb. 22 to kick off
the program. The open house will be in the Lincoln Center Room 128A from 6-7:30
p.m.
