Katie Jo Walters, 40, of Atlanta, passed away at 7:23 p.m. on
Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield. |

Obituary
Katie Jo Walters, 40, of
Atlanta, passed away at 7:23 p.m. on Saturday,
February 17, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.
Funeral services for Katie Jo will be held on
Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at
Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr.
Casey McCormick officiating. Burial will follow at
Union Station Cemetery in Union.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from
10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Katie Jo Walters was born March 14, 1977, the
daughter of Vicki S. Naffziger Barry and Randy L.
Walters. They survive.
Katie Jo is also survived by her sisters: Kella
(Gary) Allspach of Mount Pulaski and Kristy
Carmichael of Bloomington; eight nieces and nephews:
Joe Allspach, Madison (Lucas) Johnson, Riley
Allspach, Ridge Leinweber, Jayda Allspach, Rohan
Allspach, Kylee Carmichael, and Caden Carmichael;
three great-nieces: Kadelyn Allspach, Marissa
Allspach, and Declan Jo Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Katie Jo had attended the Atlanta Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to the Elk's Charitable Trust of Lodge #914 in
Lincoln or Easter Seals.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home
of Atlanta.
