[February 20, 2018]    The Lincoln College Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving team participated in the Chicagoland NAIA Conference meet this past Friday and Saturday. The swimming portion of the competition took place at Olivet Nazarene University while the diving events were hosted by Lincoln College.

The LC women’s team finished in third place overall in the four-team event. The Lady Lynx finished behind Olivet Nazarene University and Indiana Wesleyan University. The men also took a third place finish getting beat out by Olivet Nazarene University and St. Ambrose University.

“I am very pleased with the way we swam this past weekend,” said Lincoln Head Coach Jonathan Jordan. “Our competition had large portions of their teams rested and suited up for the meet, yet we were still able to have some great races and put some good times down unrested.”

The Lynx Swimming and diving team will be in action for the final time this season at the NJCAA National Swimming and Diving Meet March 7th- March 10th at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida. Going into this event, the men’s team is ranked 6th and the women are ranked 3rd.
