[February 27, 2018]  Disposition report of recent court cases as reported by the Logan County State's Attorney.

People v. Brian Davis, 17 CF 201:

On February 6, 2018, Associate Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea agreement sentencing Brian Davis to 5½ years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, a class 2 felony. The case arises out of a December 8, 2017 traffic stop where Davis was driving a vehicle reported stolen from Bloomington, Illinois.

People v. Michael Nolan, 17 CF 171:

On February 13, 2018, Associate Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea agreement sentencing Michael Nolan to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for Domestic Battery, a class 3 felony. Due to Mr. Nolan’s three prior misdemeanor convictions for Domestic Battery, the offense was elevated to a class 3 felony and the period of mandatory supervised release is 4 years.

People v. Sherry Hall, 16 CF 33:

On February 7, 2018, Associate Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea agreement sentencing Sherry Hall to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for Aggravated Battery, a class 2 felony. The case arises out of a Logan Correctional Center incident where Sherry Hall, a DOC inmate, threw a cup of feces on a correctional officer.
