[January 02, 2018]  LINCOLN - Perry Lynn Hahn, 65, of Lincoln passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Visitation:  10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. John United Church of Christ in Lincoln

Celebration of Life Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at the church

Funeral home: Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, Lincoln   

Obituary

Perry Lynn Hahn, 65, of Lincoln passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Perry was born on March 8, 1952 in San Antonio, TX. The son of Herbert Kenneth and Mary Elizabeth (Miller) Hahn. Perry married Janice Talbert on June 21, 1975 in Lincoln. She survives him in Lincoln.

Perry is also survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Hahn; his brothers, Clifford (Connie) Hahn and Dave (Guidren) Dorgan; and his sisters, Marilyn Owens and Deborah Hahn.

Perry was preceded in death by his father.

Perry was the owner of Rainbow Grooming in Lincoln. He also served as Commander of The Sons of The American Legion Post #263 in Lincoln. On April 8, 2007 Perry received the gift of a second life in the form of a liver and kidney transplant. He was an advocate for organ donation, and he even considered April 8, 2007 as his second birthday.

A celebration of Perry’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. John United Church of Christ in Lincoln. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) also at the church.

Memorial donations may be made in Perry’s name to Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donation or Logan County Veteran’s Celebration at St. John United Church of Christ.
