[January 03, 2018]  MOUNT PULASKI - Meredith Irene “Pete” Patterson, 88, of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Visitation:  9:30 a.m. Friday January 5, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski

Service:  10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home

Obituary

Meredith Irene “Pete” Patterson, 88, of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Meredith was born on April 21, 1929 to Harvey and Mae (Coats) Robinson. She married Carl S. Patterson on April 4, 1948 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2016.

Meredith is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She retired from the State of Illinois where she worked in the Capitol Building. She was a member of the Mount Pulaski Christian Church, the Loyal Daughters of the Christian Church, VFW Post #777 Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post #447 Ladies Auxiliary.

 

She enjoyed bowling on a league in Mount Pulaski for many years. She ran a dog grooming shop from her home, loved camping and traveling with her husband Carl, and playing cards with her friends for many years.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday January 5, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Casey McCormick officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial at Mount Pulaski Cemetery will follow the service.

Memorials may be made in Meredith’s name to the Mount Pulaski Christian Church Building Fund.
