[January 04, 2018]  MOUNT PULASKI - June Elizabeth Rockwell, 97, of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 4:23 a.m. Wednesday December 20, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Visitation:  9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home.

Service:  11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home

Obituary

June Elizabeth Rockwell, 97, of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 4:23 a.m. Wednesday December 20, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

June was born on June 8, 1920 in Mount Pulaski, to John and Ruth (Von Lobberecht) Bender. She married Russell Rockwell on September 10, 1941 in Mount Pulaski. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1984.

Surviving are five children, Gene (Donnie) Rockwell of Pickens, SC, Jana Goodman of Louisville, KY, Dennis (Cathleen) Rockwell of Harvel, Nancy (Danny) Boyd of Linn Creek, MO, and Cathie (Jim) Sutton of Mount Pulaski, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters. June was a homemaker and worked for the Glass Factory in Lincoln for 19 years. She was a member of the Mount Pulaski Historical Society and loved to read.

Services for June will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services. Burial will follow at Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Mount Pulaski EMS.
