[January 04, 2018]  LINCOLN -  Kimberly Lynn “Cokie” Ingram, 57, of Lincoln, passed away December 23, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation: 5-6 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.

Service: 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home

Obituary

Kimberly Lynn “Cokie” Ingram, 57, of Lincoln, passed away December 23, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow from 6-7 p.m.

Kimberly was born March 19, 1960, the daughter of Charles McMickle and Ida (Steele) McMickle. She was a cook at Papa’s Place BBQ. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, old school music, dancing, playing the Congo drums, and playing sports, especially basketball. She valued peace and enjoyed getting together frequently with family and friends.

Survivors include: her children Kim Ingram of Lincoln, Nena Ingram of Peoria, and David (Zenobia Danelle Ingram) Ingram of Washington, DC; grandchildren: Vincent Ingram, Thomas Porter, Romel Barnett, and Aubria Cannon; siblings: Ted Ingram, Sandra West, Frankie Ingram, Marion Ingram, Mark A. Ingram ( Angela Ingram), Ethel Ingram, Nina Harvey, Tracy Reams, Adrian Ingram, Evelyn Dunlap, William Byers, Paul Ingram, and Felicia Ingram.


She is also survived by her canine companion Cujo, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Vincent L. Ingram.

Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Kim Ingram and will be accepted at the funeral home.
