LINCOLN
Registered voters may now make application to Vote by Mail for the
March 20, 2018 General Primary Election. Students, out of county
workers, or those simply desiring to vote in the privacy of their
home, can conveniently obtain an Application to Vote by Mail by
contacting the Office of the County Clerk in person or by telephone,
or accessing the form on the County Clerk’s website at
www.logancountyil.gov
under Election Information. Mail applications will be received by
the County Clerk until March 15, 2018. No ballots may be sent by
mail after that date as provided by law. No excuse is needed to vote
by mail. Ballots will be available for mailing by the County Clerk
to verified applicants on February 8, 2018. The last day a ballot
may be postmarked for return by mail to the Office of the County
Clerk is Primary Election Day, March 20, 2018. Vote by Mail is a
convenient, relaxed way to vote; no travel to the polls is required,
nor is there a waiting line to cast a ballot.

Logan County Clerk Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30
a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The Office of the County Clerk will be closed on Primary
Election Day, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 for all services other than Election
related. Any questions concerning registration or voting may be directed to the
